Submitting your videos for #shareyourpride
1. By sharing any contribution (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) using the hashtags #shareyourpride you grant to Comic Relief Limited (Company number 01967154) (‘Comic Relief) free of charge, permission to use your contribution (including modifying and adapting it for operational and editorial reasons) for Comic Relief’s digital parade film for Pride (the ‘Film’) in any online media (including, but not limited to, socials, YouTube and websites) worldwide in perpetuity (forever).
2. All permissions that you give to Comic Relief under these terms are also given to all persons, firms or corporations who are using the Contribution (including but not limited to East Creative, t/a Sink The Pink who plan to use the Film online (including, but not limited to, their socials, YouTube and websites)).
3. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of any contribution. You understand and agree that you won’t be paid for your contribution.
4. You, and anyone featured in your video, must be over 18. Comic Relief will not use any footage if it thinks anyone featured is under 18.
5. No obscene, indecent or in any other way offensive content will be considered.
6. Copyright in your contribution will remain with you and this permission is not exclusive, so you can continue to use the material in any way including allowing others to use it.
7. You confirm that your contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any copyright or UK laws, that you have the right to give Comic Relief permission to use it for the purposes specified above, that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution to you submitting the video of them to us and everyone in the video is 18 years of age or older.
8. Please do not endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or break any laws when creating content you may share with us. You agree that Comic Relief won’t be liable to You for any personal injury or property damage You suffer when you’re providing the contribution, unless such injury/damage is caused directly by Comic Relief’s negligence.
9. please ensure that you create content in a way that doesn’t involve any risk of hurting yourself or others featured. Please only participate if you are fit and well to do so.
10. Please ensure that, when creating and filming your contribution, you comply with current government coronavirus guidance.
11. If you do not want to grant Comic Relief the permissions set out above on these terms, please do not send Comic Relief your video. Comic Relief does not guarantee that it will use your submission.
12. Comic Relief may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your contribution. The details you send to Comic Relief will not be used for anything other than the Film. For details on how Comic Relief may contact you or handle your data please see Privacy Statement below.
Privacy notice
This Privacy Notice explains what personal data Comic Relief collects and what happens to it. You may provide personal data when providing your contribution including your name and email address and your image, voice, photos, views of your property and other information that identifies you (contained in your contribution).
You might also choose to share with us special category data relating to you such as race or ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life or sexual orientation, genetics or biometrics, criminal offences and criminal convictions.
We may use and share your personal data for our charitable purposes as set out above, including to raise money for, and awareness of, Comic Relief and the projects it funds. This may include filming, producing, broadcasting and publicising your contribution. This could be in any online media including (but not limited to) socials, Youtube and Websites.
Comic Relief Limited and/or Charity Projects is the "data controller" and decides how your personal data is used (i.e. processed). The legal basis we process your personal data on varies. It can be our legitimate interest for our charitable or journalistic purposes (where, on balance, this processing is not disproportionate to your rights and freedoms and any impact this processing may have on you) or consent where we specifically ask for this.
We retain your contribution in line with our data retention policies (available on request). If you are the parent or guardian of a contributor aged 17 years old or under please make sure that you explain to them what will happen to their personal data.
