On September 25th the United Nations will announce the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. In the week of 28th September Richard Curtis, co-founder of Comic Relief, is calling upon teachers to help teach the World’s Largest Lesson and inspire a generation of children to champion the new Global Goals.
These aim to guide us towards a safer and fairer world. Teachers can play a key role in unleashing the energy, optimism and creativity of children to help the world achieve the Global Goals by 2030.
The mission begins in the classroom with a new generation, with the hope of creating superheroes who will work for the Goals! Working with UNICEF, The World’s Largest Lesson brings together celebrities and teachers from across the world to help create inspiring and educational resources for 8-14 year olds.
