Comic Relief founding father Lenny Henry has received a knighthood at Windsor Castle for his services to drama and charity.
Dudley's favourite son who played key part in creating us 30 years ago said after the event that he was honoured to be recognised.
He added that the award was for everyone who had supported Comic Relief over the years - " it's a wonderful honour and it's for them, the people of Dudley and my family.
"I'm one of the pointy ends of it so I've been recognised as something, but the British public will all possibly get a turn at wearing this, because they're part of this too.
Huge congratulations Sir Lenny!
