Charlotte is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has held Director of Finance roles in the NHS for almost twenty years, including national leadership roles around Continuing Health Care and capital planning. She has a particular interest in mental health and social care and volunteers as a first aider with St John Ambulance.
Prior to this, Charlotte studied music at the University of Cambridge. She trained as an accountant in manufacturing, publishing, and the theatre.
Charlotte is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committees of the Student Loans Company and NHS Resolution. She is also an external member of the House of Lords Commission. She is an independent member of the Audit and Risk Committees of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, National Lottery Community Fund, the Law Society, and the Orwell Foundation.
